Professor Mike Lind Staff

What is the Appeal / Why is there a need / The Centre / PET-CT / The Staff.

Professor Mike Lind

Professor Mike Lind is Foundation Professor of Oncology and Honorary Consultant Physician University of Hull and Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Qualifications: 1978 BSc (Hons) Clinical Pharmcology, 1981 MB BS, 1984 MRCP (UK), 1990 MD (University of London), 1997 FRCP.

Professor Lind's major research interests include lung, breast, and soft tissue sarcoma and the development and testing of new drugs for the treatment of malignant disease. He is the author of over a hundred publications and a member of several European organisations and research for the treatment of cancer site specific groups.

He is a member of several associations, including: the Association of Cancer Physicians Executive Committee, & several medical research council team site specific groups. Professor Lind is also a member of Cancer Research UK Phase I and Phase 2 Clinical Trials Committee whose aim it is to take the rapid translation of new drugs from the laboratory into the clinic.
