Dr Clive Aber
Dr Clive Aber is a cardiologist with a special interest in coronary heart disease. He was Consultant Cardiologist at the Hull Royal Infirmary and Kingston General Hospital 1966-1992 and at Hull Nuffield Hospital 1966-2000.
Qualitfications: BSc (Hons) 1948, MB ChB (Hons) 1952, MRCP 1962, MD 1962, FRCP 1974.
Academic Distinctions: International Eli Lilly Travelling Scholarship 1962-63, British Heart Foundation Research Fellowship 1694-66.
Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Hull 1978-98.
Honorary appointments currently include Chairman of the Hull & East Riding Cardiac Trust Fund, Member of the North Humberside Radiology Trust Fund and Chairman of the Hull & East Yorkshire Environmental Rescue.
Previous honorary appointments also include: Assistant Editor of Thorax, Member of British Heart Foundation Council, Member of Cardiology Committee -RCP, Member of Editorial Committee British Cardiac.
Dr Aber has been responsible for 79 scientific publications and contributed chapters for 5 books.
