What is the Appeal / Why is there a need / The Centre / PET-CT / The Staff.

The new Centre provides both scientific and laboratory facilities, a clinical trials unit and teaching accommodation for HYMS. This Centre will greatly improve research and treatment facilities for people in the Hull and East Yorkshire area. It will also improve the ability to recruit and retain top quality clinical and scientific staff.

The building includes a ground floor day surgery unit (funded and run by the NHS). A first floor charity funded clinical trials unit and HYMS funded teaching accommodation with second floor charity funded scientific laboratories, office and conference facilities.

The research facilities at the centre With the construction complete, it is important to keep raising fund to allow us to fully equip the centre.
